House Visits
Caring for Your Pet in the Comfort of Home
At Whisker & Woof, we understand that there may be times when bringing your pet into the clinic is difficult. We do offer house visits by prior appointment, allowing your pet to be seen in the comfort of their own home.
However, for most sick or injured patients, we recommend that they are brought into the practice whenever possible. This allows us to use our full range of diagnostic equipment, nursing support, and treatment facilities — ensuring that your pet receives the most effective care without delay.

When It’s Better to Come to the Practice
For urgent or complex cases, coming to the clinic is the safest option. We have:
- On-site diagnostic equipment (x-ray, ultrasound, laboratory)
- A full veterinary and nursing team ready to help
- Immediate access to life-saving medications and surgical facilities
Being in the practice means we can respond quickly if your pet’s condition is critical.
Transport Options
If getting your pet to us is challenging, we recommend:
- Asking a friend, neighbour, or family member for assistance
- Using a pet taxi or pet ambulance service that can bring your pet directly to us safely
Our reception team can provide recommendations for local pet transport services if needed.
Booking a House Visit
- Available by appointment only
- Subject to same-day availability and the vet’s schedule
- May incur an additional fee compared with a standard consultation
Please call us as early as possible if you would like to arrange a house visit so we can do our best to accommodate your request.
